In the article City councillors lobby for the County to hand over schools and roads to the City we wrote that at the February session of the Bolesławiec City Council, Lubin County starosta Adam Myrda was a guest. Among other things, he told our councillors that Lubin County had transferred the management of secondary schools and roads to the City of Lubin.

“I don’t have time to respond to malicious remarks; everyone should mind their own business,” Bolesławiec County starosta Dariusz Kwaśniewski said in an interview with “ii”. “I don’t know why the City keeps discussing us during its sessions. They wanted to save the construction school, help the special school, and now they have taken on the hospital and PKS.

He added: “And why can’t Bolesławiec have city-county status? Because Bolesławiec is to Lubin what BKS Bobrzanie is to Zagłębie Lubin. Or like our beloved BTS is to Cuprum. These are two entirely different worlds.”
