As it turns out, an effective tool for detecting this type of offence is the municipal surveillance system, which has recently been expanded to include cameras in the park on Tyrankiewiczów Street. Unfortunately, the beautifully renovated park, equipped with new playground equipment, is a meeting place for people drinking alcohol. And not only in the evenings, but also before noon.
Recently, thanks to municipal surveillance, officers of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police have been taking action practically every day against people who treat children’s playhouses as a convenient place to drink alcohol. Therefore, each intervention ends with penalty proceedings.
Moreover, following a report from the surveillance operator, municipal police officers fined a person who was damaging public-use equipment. The incident took place on the grounds of the kindergarten on Dolne Młyny Street. The man damaged a table beneath the kindergarten shelter using a so-called ninja star, which he then threw at the children’s playground equipment.
