At the hearing, the convicted woman revealed what her life had been like. She claimed that, because of the way her mother treated her, she had tried to take her own life five times. The first time was at the age of 18. Her mother harassed her and never praised her, and when the woman experienced mental health problems, her mother took her to an exorcist. The priest himself refused to perform an exorcism and suggested visiting a specialist doctor.

After her marriage, the mother not only interfered in her daughter's family life, but allegedly also threatened her with incapacitation and having her children taken away.

Anna P. attacked her mother with a knife and a hammer on December 30, 2014. The perpetrator hid the woman's body in a wardrobe. Investigators found it on New Year's Eve. We wrote about the case in the article “The Tragedy Before New Year's Eve—Indictment Issued Against the Mother Killer”.
