Police officers from Kowary detained two men, aged 35 and 38, who are suspected of robbery involving a dangerous weapon.

The incident took place on the evening of February 24 this year in the victim’s apartment in Karpacz. The men had come to visit him. An argument broke out, during which the attackers used the victim’s machete to beat him and then rob him. They also damaged other items belonging to him, whose value he estimated at PLN 1,000.

The attackers took three mobile phones, two hard drives, a decoder and other small items, with a total value of PLN 2,000. As they left, the aggressors threatened to beat the victim if he notified the police.

Despite the threats, the victim informed the police about the robbery. Officers detained the perpetrators and recovered most of the stolen items.

The residents of Kowary were taken to police custody. It turned out that they had previously been recorded for a similar crime. They have already been remanded in custody for three months. They face a prison sentence of at least three years.
