During the operation, officers issued 220 fines for exceeding the speed limit, confiscated the driving licence of a driver who was travelling more than 50 km/h over the limit in a built-up area, and detained 2 intoxicated drivers.
The operation was aimed at preventing road accidents and disciplining drivers who violate traffic regulations.
