This was an unusual intervention by officers from the Ścinawa Police Station. We wrote about it in detail in the article Officers Saved the Life of a 69-Year-Old Woman. A Tractor Driver Also Helped). Sgt. Krzysztof Zając and Sgt. Marcin Steciuk demonstrated extensive knowledge, professionalism and commitment. All the more so because every second counted. The successive sound decisions they made certainly contributed to the successful conclusion of the rescue operation.
Such conduct could not go unnoticed by Insp. Tomasz Gołaski, chief of the district police headquarters in Lubin, who rewarded the officers from Ścinawa during a briefing with the managerial staff.
