The purpose of the meeting is to create a security threat map that will enable the scale and type of threats in the municipality to be identified accurately and clearly. It will take place on 22 February at 2:00 p.m. at the Eurocentrum headquarters in Jeżów Sudecki (27 Kręta Street).

A sense of security is one of every person’s basic needs and has a decisive impact on the functioning of every community. Therefore, it is extremely important to create tools that will allow the scale and type of identified threats to be presented accurately and clearly. It should be noted that, alongside the police, a number of other institutions, services and inspectorates also safeguard citizens’ security in the broadest sense. Security threat maps are an important element of the public security management process, carried out through inter-institutional cooperation and serving to engage local communities.

Public opinion will have a major influence on the final shape of the planned IT tool. “We invite everyone who cares about the well-being and security of the municipality to attend the meeting, because security is a common good that we must all look after, both institutions and residents,” say the uniformed officers from Jelenia Góra.
