He stole sets of tires and hid them in bushes

Officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra identified and then detained a 36-year-old man suspected of theft.

The incident occurred at the beginning of January this year in Jelenia Góra. The resident of Jelenia Góra stole sets of off-road and summer tires from a private property, from beneath a shelter. The victim estimated their value at PLN 2,500.

The suspect was detained. Officers also found the tires, which the 36-year-old had hidden near the scene—in bushes. The stolen property was returned to its owner.

The 36-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
