On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec received a report that a 16-year-old resident of Bolesławiec wanted to commit suicide. To this end, the girl was said to have swallowed approximately 20 psychotropic tablets. The information about the teenager’s intention was passed on to the police by a woman living in the Masovian Voivodeship. The woman learned about it while surfing the internet.

The police officers went to the girl’s apartment. Initially, they could not get inside because the teenager’s guardian (her grandmother) was afraid to open the door, citing the late hour. The older woman also assured them that the girl certainly did not use the internet because she herself had taken away the computer cable. However, the police officers insisted that the woman open the door and allow them to speak with the girl.

Eventually, the woman let the officers into the apartment. The police officers found the girl in her room. The 16-year-old admitted taking nearly 20 psychotropic tablets. It also turned out that the teenager had used the internet with a second cable. The police officers called an ambulance. The doctor decided to take the teenager to hospital. The girl currently feels well. Her life is not in danger.
