Police officers from Pieńsk received a report of a break-in at a retail kiosk. They determined that, after forcing open the door, the perpetrator entered the premises and stole, among other things, tobacco products and batteries. The value of the stolen property was PLN 5,000.
Just a few hours later, operational police officers working on the case identified and detained a suspect in the theft. He turned out to be a 26-year-old man with no permanent address.
The officers recovered some of the stolen property. The 26-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
