Officers from the Police Station in Ścinawa were notified that one of the houses in the town had been burgled. After arriving at the indicated address, they detained a 29-year-old resident of Jawor County.
As it turned out, the owner had returned home. As soon as he went inside, he noticed objects arranged in the hallway that he was absolutely certain he had not left there. He went around the entire building and noticed that a windowpane in one of the windows had been broken. He began carefully checking all the rooms. In his bed, he found... a sleeping man. He notified the Ścinawa police officers, who detained the burglar.
Burglary
The man from Jawor stole a crowbar and a shovel from the utility rooms, using them to break the windowpane. Once inside the house, he prepared the things he intended to steal. He arranged them in the hallway. Before leaving the scene of the crime, however, he decided to have some alcohol. It “tired” the burglar so much that he lay down in the bed and fell asleep.
He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
