At the end of November this year, operational police officers from Zgorzelec conducted operations targeting people suspected of property crimes. During the operations, they identified a suspect in a burglary at a home garage that had taken place several days earlier. The perpetrator stole two bicycles worth nearly PLN 4,000.
It turned out that the man had three more burglaries to his name, including break-ins at a garden shelter and utility rooms, from which he stole power tools, documents and other items. In total, the detainee caused losses exceeding several tens of thousands of zlotys.
The suspect was taken into police custody. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
