The District Court in Jelenia Góra ruled that Piotr Roman had written an untruth in his open letter, distributed the day before the election silence began. The current president accused Karol Stasik, his opponent, of spreading false information about purchased rankings. However, Piotr Roman lied, and the court ordered him to correct this information.

Piotr Roman must also correct the sentence in which he suggested that Jewish sidelocks had been added to him. The court ruled that there are no sidelocks in the photograph.

The court dismissed the third part of the application, concerning the matter of the opponent of Piotr Roman causing embarrassment to participants in the open-air ceramics and sculpture workshop.

The ruling is not final.
