More than 200 runners have already confirmed their participation in the race, including two participants in the famous Ultramen Triathlon — former soldiers of the 62nd Special Company. Veterans, former soldiers of special forces units, active-duty soldiers and young people will take part in the race.

The race will be held in the following categories: open (women and men), soldiers (women and men), competitors in uniform and carrying a backpack with a minimum load of 20 kg (military-style clothing: field uniform or similar, military-, trekking- or scout-style boots, fully soled with a tread, laced above the ankle), as well as students of upper-secondary schools with a uniformed-services profile (girls and boys).

The 8.5-kilometre route will run through varied terrain, along forest trails and cobblestone roads. The race will start beside the monument dedicated to the Fallen Soldiers of the First Independent Commando Company and the Deceased Soldiers of the 62nd Special Company on 5 September this year at 10:00 a.m..

After the race, at 12:00 p.m., a gathering of generations of former soldiers of the 62nd Special Company “Commando” will be held at the aforementioned monument to mark the 48th anniversary of the establishment of the once-elite commando special unit.
