The incident occurred on Friday afternoon. An ambulance was called to Bader because one of the female employees had fainted. After the doctor arrived and began providing assistance, two more people fainted.

“The thermometers showed over 40 degrees, like in a greenhouse. To me, these are scandalous conditions: it was over 36 degrees outside in the shade, while inside it was like a tin can. None of the fans were working, and there was no air conditioning. Only a few windows were open,” Rafał Głuszko, the doctor who provided assistance, tells us. He was the one who decided to notify the State Labour Inspectorate, the police and the fire brigade.

While assistance was being provided to three people, another two fainted. In total, five people lost consciousness. Firefighters decided to close the production hall.
