The latest burglary committed by the 22-year-old took place during the night of July 27, at around 3:20 a.m., in Ścinawa. The 22-year-old perpetrator entered the building after tearing off a roller shutter and smashing a pane in the entrance door. The burglar stole 20 bottles of cognac, 9 bottles of vodka, 100 packs of cigarettes and 25 lighters. The losses were estimated at 7,000 zlotys.

The man was detained. As it turned out, he was also responsible for burglaries at other grocery stores in Ścinawa, with total losses of nearly 4,000 zlotys. He will also face charges for smashing a window at a bank.

The man confessed to all the charges and expressed his willingness to voluntarily submit to punishment. He could face up to 10 years in prison.
