The crime took place in one of the municipalities in our county. According to the officers’ findings, the 17-year-old, who had fled from a juvenile shelter, took advantage of his uncle’s inattention and stole a set of keys to the apartment.
Then, while his relative was away, he entered the man’s apartment and garden shed, from which he stole a watch, sweets and a bicycle. In addition, he tore the hasp and padlock from the door leading to the attic, from which he stole... an electric chainsaw.
The value of the stolen property is approximately PLN 1,300. The perpetrator confessed. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
