Perennial plants, 33 species in total, have been planted in green strips along an almost one-kilometre section of al. Orła Białego. The most numerous are boxwood plants—nearly 26,000 specimens. These plants will be tended and watered.
What will particularly delight the eyes and noses of walkers? Hybrid and garden columbines, Arctic chrysanthemums, asters, astilbes, hellebores, daylilies, carnations, candytuft, loosestrife, lavender, sage, yucca and even catmint.
