Update
As we have managed to establish, the markings were made by Wody Polskie. We will ask the institution about the matter.
A Bolesławiec resident contacted our editorial office and drew attention to the orange markings on trees in one of the city’s parks. It is the park by Bulwar nad Bobrem.

As the Reader points out, residents visit the park regularly. In summer, it is used by families with children, people walking their pets and residents looking for shade, among others.
The markings on the trees concerned him:
I noticed that many trees here in this park had been marked with an orange dot, with spray paint. And now I’m worried whether it’s just some kind of inventory, pruning branches, or whether these trees are simply scheduled to be felled.
He immediately added that he feared possible tree felling could permanently change the appearance of this charming place:
Why destroy it? To pour paving stones? To make concrete paths?
We asked Bolesławiec City Hall about the matter. We are awaiting a response.
