The Herbut Family Band, led by Janina and Józef Herbut, will perform at the gathering. Mr Józef sings and plays the accordion, while Mrs Janina plays the violin. Their repertoire includes songs with a Balkan sound and Polish folk songs.
The gathering is organised by the Association of Reemigrants from Bosnia, Their Descendants and Friends and the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre, and is held as part of the “Save from Oblivion” project, co-financed by the Municipality of Bolesławiec through an open call for proposals supporting the implementation of public tasks by non-governmental organisations.
