During Thursday’s meeting of the County Council, Radosław Palczewski, a KO councillor, asked the Bolesławiec county head, Tomasz Gabrysiak, whether it was true that the County was to take over CIK. The county head replied that the office had rented the Cultural Integration Centre for the nearest military commission. And he immediately clarified:
We will not take over this building; at most, we will rent it.
He also explained that changing the building’s use requires the consent of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Board, as the property is intended for cultural purposes. The County wants to expand its educational activities by organising vocational workshops at the aforementioned CIK.
