Officers from the Criminal Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra detained a 29-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of possessing significant quantities of drugs. While carrying out activities in one of the buildings in Jelenia Góra, the officers noticed a man who became visibly nervous when he saw them and threw “something” away.
It turned out to be a bag containing several dozen resealable bags of marijuana. In total, the officers secured drugs from which nearly 300 saleable portions could be obtained. The police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail, checking the source of the seized drugs and whether the man was involved in their distribution.
The 29-year-old was taken into police custody. He could face up to 10 years in prison for the offense.
