A total of 374 soldiers took part in the competition. “The events were more difficult than last year. The tactical course that the platoons had to complete required a very high level of physical fitness. The most difficult task, however, was controlling the platoon’s fire. In this event, everyone had to cooperate, starting with the loaders and gunners and ending with the platoon commander,” said 2nd Lt. Jakub Słobodzian, commander of a Leopard 2A4 tank platoon from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów, in an interview with Bogusław Politowski of “Polska Zbrojna”.
The platoon from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów proved to be the best in the tank platoon competition. Details on the website of the “Polska Zbrojna” monthly.
