Police officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec suspected of committing three burglaries involving gaming machines. The officers also established that the detainee had an accomplice, who turned out to be a 21-year-old... tenant of the premises containing the machines. The second man was charged with committing three burglaries and giving false testimony twice.

What is more, it turned out that the older of the accomplices had committed a series of other crimes between December 2014 and March 2015—12 in total were proven. The Bolesławiec resident broke into premises and stole items. On two occasions, he stole central-heating installations, which the 25-year-old completely removed from buildings. He also stole power tools from basement rooms, motors from external fans installed on henhouses in one of the localities in our county, and door-handle fittings. He was interested in anything that could be sold at a non-ferrous-metal collection point. The losses he caused are estimated at more than PLN 22,000.

Both detainees face up to 10 years in prison.
