The operation was carried out on Thursday, 12 March. As a result of numerous checks, Bolesławiec police officers recorded 96 cases of people travelling without seat belts. Both drivers and passengers were checked. Officers issued fines to road users who failed to comply.
In addition, police officers detained 3 intoxicated drivers and recorded 2 cases involving people subject to a ban on driving motor vehicles. One of the intoxicated drivers was a 53-year-old man who, with nearly 0.9 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air and an active driving ban that had been in force for 5 weeks, was detained in the centre of Bolesławiec. Police officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec command detained two further intoxicated drivers in the municipalities of Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec. The 32-year-old had 0.7 per mille, while the 41-year-old had more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
