The Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec has received the Nationwide Credible School Distinction and has thereby joined the ranking of the best schools in Poland. The school received this distinction for achieving high educational standards, offering an interesting range of facilities, and ensuring students’ safety at school.

An important point is that the primary criterion was the school’s achievement of a high Educational Value Added indicator, developed on the basis of results summarizing the matura examination. EWD is an indicator that clearly shows the progress a student has made during their education at school. It compares the results of lower-secondary and matura examinations.

The Credible School Program aims to distinguish the best schools throughout Poland, which achieve very good academic results thanks to an appropriate level of teaching. Participation in the Program also confirms that a school has suitable infrastructure and guarantees the safety of its students.

The portfolios of all distinguished schools can be viewed on the Program Website.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to the school’s administration, teaching staff, students, and everyone cooperating with the high school.
