Starting from positions such as gunner or aimer, through platoon commander, to administrative staff, women at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment carry out their duties alongside men. They receive no special treatment, and performing difficult military tasks shoulder to shoulder with men has long ceased to surprise anyone. On the occasion of their holiday, the women received numerous wishes from their colleagues in uniform, superiors and coworkers.

During the gathering at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, the commander of the Bolesławiec artillerymen honored all the women with a symbolic flower and offered words appropriate to the occasion: “On your holiday, I thank you for your good service and work, for your dedication and commitment, which I observe every day. For the way you influence the atmosphere at work in our regiment with your smiles and kindness, and for how your knowledge and experience contribute to the successes we achieve.

The flowers presented by the regiment commander and the superiors to each woman present were a symbolic expression of recognition and gratitude for their commitment to daily service and work at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment. After the wishes were delivered, everyone sat down at the table, where the women shared their impressions over coffee and cake. A special-occasion cake was a pleasant surprise.
