With the professional interests of employees and the workplace in mind, the trade union is demanding:
- an end to discrimination against employees on the grounds of membership in NSZZ “Solidarity”
- changes to the remuneration regulations concerning bonuses awarded
- an average salary increase of PLN 500 per BOK-MCC employee
The NSZZ “Solidarity” trade union submitted its demands to director Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska and reported in its letter: “As of January 30, 2015, it has been in a collective dispute; at present, the employer should meet the union’s demands by February 6, 2015.”
In a conversation with Istotne.pl, Bogusław Wojtas, chair of the negotiating team, says that money is not the employees’ main concern, but rather good, peaceful working conditions.
“We hope to sign an agreement and reach a consensus during talks between the employees and the director,” says Wojtas. “The union also expects the city mayor, the director’s direct supervisor, to become more involved in the matter.”
We will return to this matter.
