The incident took place on January 12 at one of the medical facilities in Kowary. The two children of a 30-year-old resident of the town, aged 12 and 14, took advantage of one of the facility employees’ inattention and stole her handbag containing documents and a payment card with its PIN.
The minors handed the stolen property over to... their mother, who tried to pay for purchases at a pharmacy with the stolen card.
The woman was arrested, and the police recovered the stolen property. The 30-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison. The fate of her 14-year-old daughter will be decided by the family court.
