The WOŚP organizing committee operated in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. The municipal finale began at 4:00 p.m. in the hall of the Village Cultural Centre in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. – Thanks to the work of the organizing committee members and around 40 volunteers, we set another fundraising record. After the initial count, we collected approximately PLN 20,475.36 and EUR 63. We will provide the exact official amount soon, after the bank has counted it – says Mirosław Różycki, an instructor at the Municipal Cultural Centre.
He adds: – This is an excellent result for our municipality. Many people contributed to this success, making it possible to raise such a significant amount. We will soon publish a list of donors and people who helped us on our website.
The municipal WOŚP finale featured the following bands: Niespodzianka from Tomaszów, Podgrodzianki from Raciborowice and Niewinni from Wrocław. Volunteer firefighters from Tomaszów Bolesławiecki also took part in the finale.
The best can-collection result was achieved by Samanta Kraśnicka, who collected PLN 1,387.10 and EUR 27.60.
On Saturday, the Walk with the Orchestra was held once again. More than 170 runners took part, and the proceeds for WOŚP amounted to as much as PLN 1,534. The Primary School in Raciborowice Dolne also contributed to the fundraiser.
