Today, firefighters have had a busy day. In addition to numerous incidents related to heavy rainfall and local flooding, two road incidents also occurred. In both cases, the cars ended up in roadside ditches.
The first incident occurred on provincial road no. 357, between Zebrzydowa and Nowogrodziec. The driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch. One person was injured as a result of the incident. The emergency medical team attended to them.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec, Zebrzydowa and Parowa, a road rescue team and the police were at the scene.
A similar situation occurred on the route between Warta Bolesławiecka and Łaziska. There, too, a car left the road and ended up in a roadside ditch.
We remind you that driving is more difficult during rain and that speed should be adjusted to the conditions on the road.
The police are determining the causes of both incidents.
