On Monday, 1 December, officers from the Traffic Division of the County Police Headquarters in Lubin conducted the “Sober Morning” operation. From the morning hours until 11:00 a.m., the officers checked 569 drivers.

It turned out that 5 of them were drunk, with each having approximately one per mille of alcohol in their system. Four driving licences were seized because one of the intoxicated drivers... simply did not have one.

Driving while intoxicated carries a penalty of up to 2 years in prison.
