The operation began on November 20. Precisely at 5:30 p.m., Superintendent Waldemar Okręglicki, head of the Prevention Division of the Lubin District Police Headquarters, conducted a briefing for the police officers. The officers were informed about their tasks for the coming hours. They were to pay particular attention to people who might be committing car thefts and to intoxicated drivers.
Seventy uniformed officers set out into the city. The Lubin police officers were supported in the operation by officers from the Independent Prevention Unit in Legnica and young uniformed officers from the Professional Adaptation Company, who are preparing to perform their duties independently.
During the operation, the police identified 147 people, checked 86 vehicles, detected 43 offences, carried out 81 interventions, and seized: 1 driving licence, 6 registration certificates, and arrested 5 perpetrators of various crimes.
