The incident took place on November 20 at approximately 10:15 p.m. As officers determined, the 32-year-old pedestrian, under the influence of alcohol, stepped onto the crosswalk against a red light and was hit by the driver of a Peugeot. The 32-year-old was not seriously injured. He was taken to hospital and then to a police holding facility.
An accident also occurred on Wrocławska Street in Jelenia Góra on November 20. Before 3:00 p.m., two vehicles collided: a Ford Focus driven by a 34-year-old man traveling toward Wrocław and an Audi driven by a 21-year-old woman from Jelenia Góra. Both were sober.
Moreover, at approximately 7:15 a.m. that same day, police officers detained a man in Piechowice who was driving a car despite a court-imposed driving ban.
