In November this year, police officers from Lubin received several reports concerning the theft of various metal components. The 25-year-old resident of Lubin stole manhole covers, fence elements, door lock cylinders and lightning rods.
The perpetrator was arrested and taken into police custody. Officers determined that the man sold the stolen property at a scrap metal collection point. He earned little this way, while causing losses of approximately PLN 5,000.
He now faces up to five years in prison.
