Officers from the Lubin traffic police, patrolling in an unmarked police car, stopped in Chróstnik a Mitsubishi driver who was overtaking in a prohibited place on national road No. 3, on the Legnica–Lubin route.
The 22-year-old resident of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, unaware that police officers were driving ahead of him, began overtaking despite a double solid line and a pedestrian crossing. The driver also exceeded the speed limit on this section by more than 30 km/h.
The man received a PLN 750 fine and 21 penalty points.
