They wanted to steal lighting fixtures worth approximately PLN 5,300. They were caught red-handed

Police officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra noticed a passenger car near an abandoned workshop hall belonging to the Jelenia Góra City Hall. Shortly afterwards, three men emerged from the hall carrying dismantled lighting fixtures.

The detainees are residents of Lubań County, aged 45, 46 and 36. In their car, the officers found 26 lighting fixtures. The municipal authorities estimated the value of the stolen items at PLN 5,300.

All three confessed to the crime. The suspects now face up to five years in prison.
