The incident took place on Sunday, October 19. After 7 p.m., the Lubin police duty officer received a report that a woman who was probably under the influence of alcohol had arrived at the hospital by car, driving a BMW.
It turned out that the 35-year-old resident of Chocianów municipality had arrived at the medical facility with her two children: her 9-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son.
The suspicions were confirmed: the woman was drunk, with over 2 per mille of alcohol in her system. What is more, she was aggressive during the intervention: she insulted the officers and violated their bodily integrity.
The children were placed in their grandmother’s care. The 35-year-old now faces up to 5 years in prison.
