The incident occurred during the night of October 2–3 in Nowogrodziec. The 35-year-old took advantage of the fact that the homeowner had left an unsecured window. He entered the apartment through it and stole a television and a microwave worth a total of PLN 1,750.
The man was detained several hours after committing the theft. He was caught while on his way to sell the stolen property.
The 35-year-old had previously been convicted. He now faces up to five years in prison. The recovered television and microwave were handed over to their owner.
