The accident occurred on Saturday, September 27, on the road between Bolesławiec and Kruszyn. After 8:00 p.m., a Citroën driver who was travelling correctly hit a 45-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality.
According to the officers’ preliminary findings, the 45-year-old pedestrian entered the roadway. The Citroën driver tried to manoeuvre the vehicle, but the collision could not be avoided.
The injured man was taken to hospital. The driver of the passenger car was sober.
