Legnica police officers arrested two men (a 34-year-old resident of Chojnów and a 41-year-old resident of Olsztyn) who attempted to defraud one of the banks of, to put it mildly, PLN 40,000.
The fraudsters were arrested in the act—while presenting a forged employment certificate at one of the companies in Lower Silesia.
Both detainees now face up to 8 years in prison.
