Police officers detained an 18-year-old man from Jelenia Góra. They established that between August and September this year, the teenager committed at least several property-related offences. His record mainly includes thefts, with surveillance cameras most often among his targets. Moreover, at the beginning of September, the 18-year-old stole a tablet worth more than PLN 600.

He was caught when he and his 20-year-old female acquaintance were stealing panels from an open shelter. Their value was estimated at PLN 450.

Officers do not rule out the possibility that the man from Jelenia Góra has committed more offences of this kind. The teenager was taken into police custody. He now faces a sentence of up to five years in prison.
