Police officers from the Prevention Department arrested a 19-year-old resident of Legnica, the driver of a Hyundai, on Saturday night. The man was driving despite being subject to a ban on driving motor vehicles issued by the District Court in Legnica (Reason? Driving while intoxicated).
After the procedural steps had been completed, the man was released home. However, he did not enjoy his freedom for long. An hour later, officers saw the same car again. Once again, the 19-year-old was behind the wheel.
This time, the Legnica resident was taken to police custody. He faces up to 3 years in prison.
