Police officers from the second police station in Jelenia Góra arrested a man suspected of stealing a laptop. The incident occurred at the beginning of August this year at one of the city’s parish houses. The man took advantage of the fact that the door was ajar and the owner of the equipment was absent for a moment. He stole a laptop worth PLN 2,000.
The thief was arrested. He turned out to be a 30-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra. As officers determined, the 30-year-old had probably pawned the equipment at one of the pawnshops. Efforts to recover the stolen property are ongoing.
The man confessed. He now faces up to five years in prison.
