The 16-year-old was apprehended on August 29. At around 11:40 a.m., the municipal police dispatcher received a report that a young boy was on the roof of one of the buildings on Dzieci Wrześni Street, knocking on residents’ windows from there. There was a suspicion that he might enter one of the apartments.
A municipal police patrol was immediately sent to the scene. The officers established that the building’s roof could be accessed either from the attic or through the residents’ windows. The patrol also learned that the teenager was probably in the attic, which he had entered through a roof window.
One of the residents opened the attic door. The 16-year-old was found there. As it turned out, he was wanted by the police and was to be taken to a youth educational centre.
The teenager was taken to the District Police Headquarters. Bolesławiec police officers are handling further proceedings in the case.
