Police officers from the Polish-German Nysa group detained a 39-year-old resident of Zgorzelec on August 6. In the ventilation shaft of his apartment, officers found a bag containing a large quantity of a white substance and dried plant material. As it turned out, these were methamphetamine (2,000 doses) and marijuana.
The officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case. Moreover, on August 8, at the request of the Zgorzelec prosecutor’s office, the 39-year-old was remanded in custody for three months. He could face a prison sentence of up to 12 years.
