The incident took place during the night of July 12–13. At around 12:25 a.m., the Bolesławiec Municipal Police duty officer received a report that a young man was painting scribbles on a waste-bin enclosure on Staszica Street. Using surveillance cameras (we wrote about them in the article Expanded monitoring, even safer in Bolesławiec), the vandal was spotted. The patrol immediately went to the scene.

The man was apprehended in the act. A can of paint and accessories used for painting were also found at the scene. What is more, the pseudo-graffiti on the rear wall of the waste-bin enclosure had not yet dried.

The vandal admitted guilt. He was taken to the County Police Headquarters, which is conducting further activities in the case.
