A robbery took place on Friday at around 4:00 p.m. A masked man entered a pastry shop where there were no customers. Threatening the saleswomen with a fake pistol, he demanded that they hand over the money. However, he was unable to escape with it. A woman stopped him in the doorway, and when he got outside, two other men caught him. The attacker was handed over to the police, who had been notified several minutes earlier by one of the passers-by after he noticed a man lurking near the pastry shop. The entire stolen amount was recovered.
The detained 39-year-old is known to the Bolesławiec police. During the investigation, it emerged that in September he had attacked two women and, threatening them with a knife, taken their handbag. The detained man faces a prison sentence of between 3 and 12 years.
