Class II b and members of the drama club operating at the Janusz Korczak Second General Secondary School in Bolesławiec prepared an artistic program for Children’s Day. It featured songs and poems by such classics of Polish literature as Jan Brzechwa, Julian Tuwim and Aleksander Fredro.
The program was watched by youngsters from Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 3, MPP No. 7, as well as students of Primary School No. 5, Primary School No. 3 and children attending the District Complex of Special Schools and Institutions.
– It was very nice to return to the days of childhood. And I think the children enjoyed it too, says Klaudia Wilk from class II b. Anna Szweda, who played Frozyna in an excellent adaptation of Molière’s “The Miser” (more on this subject in the article Drama Club – an exceptional showcase of II LO, says that the two performances are difficult to compare. – It was completely different this time, she emphasizes. – But I think we did a great job.
– It is also worth mentioning that all these poems and songs had a moral. The children could have fun and learn something at the same time, notes Kamil Rościszewski. – I am glad that I could take part in this event. I really liked that we made so many smiles appear on the children’s faces, adds first-year student Marcelina Chuchro.
