The incident occurred at around 5:40 p.m. near the bypass, not far from the viaduct, at the intersection of Dolne Młyny and Wróblewskiego streets. A woman driving a Ford, a 40-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, entered the intersection from the direction of Dolne Młyny. She failed to yield to a Seat traveling along the bypass. The cars collided and struck a third vehicle, a Volkswagen, which was already in the intersection.
Two people—the Seat driver and a Volkswagen passenger—were taken to hospital. Firefighters neutralized the fluids that had spilled onto the road. Police confirmed that the driver was sober.
The period before the holidays has led to many more cars being on the roads. Drivers with less experience have also set out on their journeys. Take care.
